BUDAPEST Essentials TOP 10

The capital city of Hungary is slowly and quitely becoming one of the main destination for tourists in Europe! Beautiful views, vital, busy nightlife, great history, and amazing buildings! Hard to set up a Top 10 from this city, but i try to write down a list!

BUDA CASTLE

Buda Castle is probably the most popular place to visit when you are in Budapest. You as a tourist you can easily spend your half a day there. Fisherman’s bastion, Matthias Church and many more amazing building to check out. Highly recommend. You can take a free walking tour also up to the castle!

HEROES SQUARE

Heroes Square is a beautiful place with an old history. The statues are clearly amazing, worth to check out!

SZECHENY SPA

Central Europe’s biggest and oldest open spa, a unique experience, surely!

VACI STREET(HIGH STREET)

MARGARET ISLAND

This island is just something you would love if you like nature! Really peaceful, perfect for a good walk, and in the middle of the island, there is a fountain which plays music!!! Really fun! Good experience!

SZENTENDRE (COUNTRYSIDE)

This little village in on the countryside, but you can reach out from the central with an overground train, in about 40 minutes. Really authentic, really peaceful, special experience!

PARLIAMENT

Europe tallest Parliament, and one of the biggest, clearly a symbol. Really hard to get inside, you have to book at least a week before on english, they also provide tour on german,russian,italian,spanish.

ST. STEPHEN BASILICA

Beautiful building, pretty cheap to get in, good location, in the centre of Pest. Beautiful art and architecture.

OPERA HOUSE

The Hungarian Opera House is also one of the most famous tourist place to visit, during your trip in Hungary. Providing great tours inside the building, worth it!

MARKET

This is the place, where you can buy everything, which is traditionally hungarian! Can’t miss it, when you visit to Budapest!
